Porn could tie accused killer to Vancouver

VANCOUVER (NEWS1130) – It’s a potential link between Montreal murder suspect Luka Magnotta and Vancouver; Magnotta may have been in the city to shoot a gay porn film in 2003.
The short was put together by Streetbait.com, a porn site Vancouver journalist Jeremy Hainsworth wrote about in ’03.
“The Streetbait filmes were generally a guy, or a guy and a woman who would supposedly lure a straight guy to some cheap apartment where he would be tricked into having sex,” explains Hainsworth.
“These things were just cheaply produced little porn shorts, supposedly to titillate this sort of fantasy that exists in the gay community about getting a straight guy,” he adds.
The production company had a Vancouver office at the time. Hainsworth tells us one scene in a Streetbait film featuring Magnotta looks like it may have been shot in Vancouver’s West End, near Denman.
It’s believed a hand and foot mailed to two Vancouver schools this week could be connected to the murder of Chinese student Jun Lin in Montreal.
Magnotta was arrested Monday in Germany in connection with the death. Other body parts were also sent to political offices in Ottawa.
