Discounts will be offered on Port Mann Bridge tolls

By

SURREY (NEWS1130) – The new Port Mann Bridge is mere months away from opening and tolling registration is set to begin in a matter of weeks. Some drivers will be eligible for discounts.

You’ll get 25 per cent off of the $3 toll if you’re a registered HOV lane user during rush hour. Truck drivers who use the bridge overnight will get a 50 per cent discount on their toll.

The Port Mann Highway One Project has launched a video explaining it all (scroll to the end of this article to view the video)

Like the Golden Ears Bridge, your transponder or licence plate will be read and you’ll be billed online or in the mail. Two payment offices will also be set up. There will be hefty penalties if you don’t pay.

The suggested untolled choice is the Pattullo Bridge via the new South Fraser Perimeter Road.
