Two boats collide near Ladner sending four to hospital

DELTA (NEWS1130) – Delta Police are investigating a man on impaired boating charges after two boats slammed into each other near Ladner.
It happened around 10 p.m. yesterday, east of Westham Island.
Sergeant Debbi McLeod says several people were hurt in the collision.
“There were four people injured, three were taken to Vancouver General Hospital with non-life threatening injuries and one was taken to Delta Hospital.”
Everyone is expected to be OK, but both boats have extensive damage.
