Missing 13-year-old girl not seen in nine days

SURREY (NEWS1130) – Surrey police say the believe a 13-year-old girl who hasn’t been seen in 10 days is just avoiding her family.

Mounties say Subeehah Buksh was last seen in her family home on July 28 around 4 p.m However, her friends are in touch and police believed the area and avoiding contact with family.

Investigators do still need to confirm her whereabouts, however, and re-connect her with a guardian.

The last time her family saw her she was wearing a black top and blue jeans. Buksh is described as 5’3″ and 75 lbs with black hair and brown eyes.

According to RCMP, there have been sightings reported in Maple Ridge, Surrey and Vancouver. Despite concern for her well-being, Mounties believe she left home on her own.
