VANCOUVER (NEWS1130) – Camilo scored a goal and assisted on two others as Whitecaps FC blanked Chivas USA 4-0 in front of 17,777 fans at BC Place. It was the first time this season Vancouver scored four times in a game.

Vancouver opened the scoring 11 minutes into the match as Kenny Miller held the ball up in the box and then passed back to  Gershon Koffie who smashed home a left-footed blast.

Miller had to leave the game seven minutes later, as he suffered a right hamstring strain. He joins Darren Mattocks and John Thorrington who also have hamstring injuries.

The Scottish international was replaced by Dane Richards, who almost scored in the 25th minute. Ten minutes later Richards had a nice give and go with Camilo on the right side. The Jamaican scored.

In the 62nd minute, Richards returned the favour as he found Camilo right in front of the goal in the sixth yard box and the Brazilian easily converted.

The final goal of the game was scored by Barry Robson who had plenty of time to tee up a left-footed shot from the left side of the box in the 73rd minute to Cap the scoring.

Camilo had a goal and two assists, while Robson and Richards each had a goal and one assist.

Brad Knighton did not have to make a save to earn the shutout.
