TORONTO – Rob Lowe will be stepping into the style spotlight as host of the P&G Beauty & Grooming Awards in Toronto.
The “Parks and Recreation” star will take the helm of the fourth annual ceremony which will take place on Nov. 19.
Kim Cattrall, Queen Latifah and Nia Vardalos have previously taken on hosting duties.
The awards recognize Canada’s beauty, grooming and fashion editorial talent as well as leading make-up artists, hair stylists, photographers, art directors and models.
The event will recognize talents in 15 categories, which this year includes a new addition for best art direction.
An independent panel of beauty and fashion industry insiders along with art and design experts review and evaluate all entries, determining the three finalists and winner for each category.
“We’re excited to see the P&G Beauty & Grooming Awards continue to grow in Canada, attracting such high caliber work, year over year,” Esther Benzie, associate marketing director of P&G Beauty & Grooming Canada said in a release.
“And with Rob Lowe presiding over the gala event as our first male host, we couldn’t think of a better leading man to help us celebrate the Canadian beauty, grooming and fashion industry this year.”
