Santa pays a visit to Royal Columbian Hospital

VANCOUVER (NEWS1130) – A bit of holiday cheer from Santa himself at Royal Columbian Hospital.

Saint Nick paid a pre-Christmas visit to pediatric patients. He left the reindeer at home and arrived in a helicopter that landed on the hospital’s helipad. Once safely on the ground, he had a jolly greeting for the crowd. “Merry Christmas everybody! Ho Ho Ho!”

Santa and his elf were very cautious and used hand sanitizer. They didn’t want to pass along any germs they may have carried from the North Pole. “It’s no problem,” they confirmed.

The two passed out Christmas gifts to the young ones in the Children’s ward. Santa had his list and he was checking it twice. “You’ve been a good boy this year? Are you doing well in school?”

“Yes,” replied one boy.

Santa even took time out to ask the media if they have been good boys and girls, as if he didn’t already know.

“Well, you do your best and that’s all I can ask,” Santa said.
