CHILLIWACK (NEWS1130) – Mounties in Chilliwack are looking for two men accused of punching a woman in the chest in an underground parkade.

As the 64-year old woman walked to her car in the parkade on Bole Avenue near Victor Street on Tuesday, she saw two men standing by her vehicle and questioned them.

After one of the men punched her, she was able to run to a nearby door to get away. However, she is suffering from bruising to her chest.

“An assault like this leaves the victim feeling very vulnerable and unsafe,” says Constable Tracy Wolbeck. “This is something that we take very seriously and hope that someone saw something that can lead us to the suspects.”

One of the suspects is described as a Native man in his 20s who is about 5’9″ and 160 lbs. He had a short brush cut and was wearing a white hooded sweatshirt, blue jeans, and black runners. He has a scar under his right eye.

The second suspect is described as a Native man in his 20s who is about 5’4″ and 200 lbs. He has a stocky build and a reddish-brown mohawk with a ponytail in the back. He was wearing a sleeveless shirt and grey sweatpants. He has tattoos down his arms and around his neck.
