Driver dies after crashing into boats and motorhome

POINT ROBERTS (NEWS1130) – One person is dead after a pickup truck plowed through four boats and a motorhome.
The driver was pronounced dead shortly after Washington State troopers arrived at the scene around 5:40 p.m. Friday.
Investigators say the Chevy pickup truck was heading south on Tyee Drive and lost control going around a curve.
The vehicle went off the road, smashed into a fence, before crashing into the boats and motorhome.
The name, sex, age, and hometown of the driver isn’t being released.
It’s not known if drugs or alcohol played a role in the crash.
