One man dead after industrial accident in Vancouver

VANCOUVER (NEWS1130) – WorksafeBC is investigating a fatality at a residential work site in the Point Grey area of Vancouver this afternoon.
Donna Freeman with WorkSafeBC says a retaining wall fell on a worker and he suffered fatal injuries.
“We’re just at the site, securing the site. We’ll take photos and the officers will be conducting interviews with pertinent parties, that would employers, coworkers, witnesses etcetera and we’ll just be proceeding to determine the cause.”
She says there are no other injuries. The company involved isn’t known.
