Vancouver restaurant damaged by fire

VANCOUVER (NEWS1130) – A fire in a two-storey buillding on Broadway near Ontario is now out.
Battalion Chief Brian Simonson says the two-alarm fire broke out around 9 a.m. in a Korean/Japanese restaurant.
He tells us a leaky gas line at the back of the restaurant is to blame. “Something’s obviously happened back there that’s punctured that line that created the hazard.
No one was hurt.
Traffic was blocked on Broadway for awhile earlier today, but it’s now getting through.
