Lebron leads Heat with big third quarter in Game 5 win

MIAMI, FL (NEWS1130) – Lebron James scored 16 of his game high 30 points in the third quarter, as the defending NBA champion Heat downed Indiana 90-79. Miami now leads the Eastern Conference Final 3-2.

The Pacers were up 44-40 at the half.

Prior to the third quarter, Lebron had a spirited conversation with his teammates in a huddle.

Miami had a 30-13 advantage in the third, as James personally outscored the Pacers 16-13. He added eight rebounds, six assists and two steals.

Udonis Haslem chipped in with 16 points for the winners, as he made his final eight shots.

Paul George paced Indiana with 27 points and 11 boards. Roy Hibbert had 22 for Indiana.

Miami can wrap up the series on Saturday in Indianapolis.

The Western Conference champion San Antonio Spurs await the winner in the NBA Final.
