SURREY (NEWS1130) – The Surrey man who killed his estranged wife at a newspaper office two years ago has been handed life in prison with no chance of parole for at least 16 years.
Twenty-eight-year-old Manmeet Singh walked into Ravinder Bhangu’s workplace and stabbed and hacked her multiple times after chasing her around the office.
The couple were married for two years but had separated just months before the attack. At the time, witnesses said Bhangu ran through the offices, yelling “Save me” and a Good Samaritan tried to get in the way of the attack.
Singh pleaded guilty to second-degree murder.
