People who bundle Internet, cable, phone happy with provider

VANCOUVER (NEWS1130) – Many people complain about the price of bundling Internet, cable, and phone services, but it turns out you don’t mind paying it for the convenience.

A new report from JD Power & Associates finds people who choose that option are most satisfied with their provider.

The people who are the happiest with their bundle are in Saskatchewan; all the service providers in BC ranked near the bottom.

“The providers at the bottom of the list would have greater frequency of problems and their ability to resolve those issues is far less on a comparative basis, all that leading to a poorer experience, overall,” says Adrian Chung with the marketing firm.

He says despite that, people don’t mind paying $165 a month for all three services. “The big drivers in terms of satisfaction in either Internet or TV [are] performance and reliability… and performance and reliability, if strong, will dictate the number of customer service contacts they need.”

The report also found nearly half of you now watch TV on tablets or smartphones and that you would recommend your provider to others.
