IKEA recalls two children’s beds

VANCOUVER (NEWS1130) – IKEA is recalling two types of childrens’ beds.
The retailer has heard several reports of the metal rod connecting the guardrail to the bedframe breaking; kids could get cut on the sharp metal edges.
The beds being recalled are:
KRITTER junior beds with date stamp from 1114 to 1322
SNIGLAR junior beds with date stamp from 1114 to 1318
Eighteen-thousand of these beds have been sold in Canada.
Anyone who has bought a bed involved in this recall should go into the store or call 1-800-661-9807 to receive a repair kit.
