VANCOUVER (NEWS1130) – Could Vancouver soon see more US retailers enter the market?
A commercial real estate firm has been analyzing hundreds of American chains to figure out what could be next in our area.
Vancouver has recently seen the likes of Target, Nordstrom, J.Crew, and Marshalls enter the market; they are forcing local retailers to either become more competitive or perish.
Colliers has been researching what people in the Lower Mainland want versus what they need; they’re also looking at how well other chains could do in this market.
The top choices seem to be clothing makers Abercrombie & Fitch, DressBarn and Buckle. Ross, Designer Shoe Warehouse and Maidenform are also possible contenders.
