VPD looking for man who attacked two sex trade workers

VANCOUVER (NEWS1130) – Vancouver Police are looking for a man behind attacks on two sex trade workers.

Early in the morning on Monday, on separate occasions two woman were approached by a man on Kingsway and Tyne who wanted sex.

One woman was hit in the face, the other was hit with a pipe or a bat in the arm.

She has a possible elbow fracture.

Police are looking for a man they believe to be Caucasian, mid 20s, with a slim build and clean-shaven.

Just last month – two escorts were found dead two weeks apart – in an apartment building in New Westminster.

Police consider their deaths suspicious.

No arrests have yet been made in those deaths.
