SURREY (NEWS1130) – A switch problem in the King George area created system-wide issues for people using the SkyTrain this evening.
“What a switch problem does, it controls the tracks, so it communicates the tracks of the train to the control system at the SkyTrain control room,” Jiana Ling with TransLink explains.
Trains on the Expo and Millennium Lines were stopping for five minutes at each station.
Service was restored just after 7 p.m.
