By

VANCOUVER (NEWS1130) – The Vancouver Canucks host the Winnipeg Jets today.

It’s the Canucks final game before a week long Christmas break. The Canucks are coming off a big shootout win over the Chicago Blackhawks.

Vancouver has earned at least a point in eight of its past nine games.

The Jets are coming off a 5-2 win over the Florida Panthers, but haven’t won back-to-back games this month.

Roberto Luongo will be looking for win number 250 as a member of the Canucks. Ondrej Pavelec is expected to start for the Jets.

Tonight will be the first of three meetings this season. The Canucks visit Winnipeg on Jan. 31 and again on Mar. 12.

Puck drop is at 5 p.m. at Rogers Arena.
