Canadian team’s app comes out on top at CES

LAS VEGAS, NEVADA (NEWS1130) – A team from Montreal has won the mobile apps showdown at CES for the app “PasswordBox.”

“We’re very excited to have won,” says Magaly Charbonneau with PasswordBox.

“Our app is a password manager with a social twist. It allows you to save all of your online accounts and passwords. You can share securely and bequeath your entire box to your legacy,” she explains.

She was pleasantly surprised to win. “I don’t remember anything that happened when I was on-stage.”

“We were founded in January, 2012. We were in private beta until June, 2013. When we went live, we reached 1 million users faster than some of the big names in [the industry],” says Charbonneau.

“We are available on Android, iOS, iPad, desktop — all browsers and all operating systems.”
