High expectations for Canada vs USA men’s hockey semifinal

SOCHI, Russia (NEWS1130) – For some, today’s gold medal final in the women’s hockey tournament is just a warmup for tomorrow’s big tilt between Team Canada and the Americans in the men’s semifinal.
Ken MacQueen with Maclean’s Magazine is in Sochi and says the Canadians better be at the top of their game if they want to advance to the gold medal matchup Sunday morning. “They’ve got some serious issues with scoring. If it wasn’t for the defence, we wouldn’t have much in the way of scoring.”
“How do you turn that around? Offence is a good defence, I guess, in this case.”
Defensemen have scored the winning goals in Canada’s last two games, including yesterday’s 2-1 nail-biter versus Latvia.
