Death toll in WA mudslide stands at 25

OSO, WA (NEWS1130) – The perilous and painstaking search for victims of Saturday’s deadly mudslide in Washington state is beginning its sixth day.

Officials admit that hope of finding any more survivors has been replaced with the realization that some families may not even have someone to bury.

Twenty-five bodies have been found so far, but nine of those victims have not yet been recovered.

Ninety people are missing. That number is way down from the earlier figure of 176.
