VANCOUVER (NEWS1130) – The Vancouver Canucks may have come unhinged this season, but there may be a silver lining — tickets to see any of the remaining games are pretty cheap.
For some sections of Rogers Arena, prices have been slashed by more than 50 per cent.
That doesn’t mean that everyone is jumping back on the bandwagon.
There’s a customer, a season ticket holder, that’s been on the priority list for years, and years, and years. They’re in number 121, and they’ve noticed their priority list has jumped 37 spots to 84,” says Kingsley Bailey is with Vancouver Ticket.
Bailey thinks fans are frustrated so they’re jumping ship and this is their way of showing management they’re not happy. We’re probably down a good 50 per cent since February because the team has been abysmal. We’re hanging in there, the Whitecaps are there, the BC Lions will hopefully fill the bill.”
Ticket prices aren’t going up next season, although he thinks the team should consider lowering them.
