Jimmy Kimmel welcomes Rob Ford back from rehab

Late-night television host Jimmy Kimmel poked fun at Toronto Mayor Rob Ford and his return from rehab in his opening monologue on Monday night.
“It’s always a great day for a city when their mayor comes back from rehab,” joked Kimmel.
Ford has been the butt of jokes on ABC’s Jimmy Kimmel Live and other late night shows ever since allegations arose in May 2013 about the mayor’s drug use.
But Ford news was light while the mayor took a two-month leave of absence to spend time in a rehab facility.
“Oh I missed that sweaty, pink man,” said Kimmel, who hosted the mayor on an episode last March.
Kimmel referenced the mayor’s invite-only press conference before playing a clip of his speech with a body builder superimposed over the mayor’s body while Ford talked about his improved health and resolve to keep his addiction at bay.
The late night host also wished Ford luck in his recovery saying “we’ll keep our fingers crossed.”
