VANCOUVER (NEWS1130) – Greater Vancouver home sales rose 3.9% in July to 3,061.

The adjusted average selling price rose 4.4% to $628,600, according to the Real Estate Board of Greater Vancouver.

It says July was the fourth month in a row that sales topped 3,000.

REBGV president-elect Darcy McLeod says the activity is in the “upper reaches” of a balanced market.

There were more sales of detached homes than condos last month, with the average house price at $980,500.

The unadjusted actual average price for a house last month was $1.2 million.
