Man arrested after Burnaby stabbing

VANCOUVER (NEWS1130) – One man has been arrested after an overnight stabbing at the Metrotown bus loop in Burnaby.
RCMP Sergeant Jeff Ausmus says this was a result of two friends getting into a fight.
“Without having obviously spoken to the victim and the suspect fully, that is the impression we are getting, that it was a verbal argument that went bad.”
Ausmus adds the victim is expected to recover, “as far as I know at this point it was non-life threatening, so I haven’t been updated as to his condition but I believe it to be non-life threatening.”
