VANCOUVER (NEWS1130) – In an effort to convince you the Northern Gateway pipeline is a good thing, Enbridge is rebranding.
The national TV, print and social media advertising campaign features everyday activities, such as eating dinner and driving the kids to hockey.
It also features moments such as giving your new born baby their first bath. Other ads equate energy to “guilty pleasures,” “dinner with dad,” and “amazing journeys.”
The theme “Life Takes Energy” tries to counter negative publicity against the oil sands pipeline.
The feds have given a conditional green light to Enbridge’s controversial $6.5-billion Northern Gateway pipeline project between Alberta and our BC coast.
