Where’s the best spot to watch the Rogers Santa Claus Parade on Sunday?

VANCOUVER (NEWS1130) – The countdown is on for the Rogers Santa Claus Parade, so let the planning begin!
The big question is: Where is the best place to watch the festivities?
“I’ve had the good fortune of being in the parade the last couple of years,” says Ryan Nickerson with Rogers. “I would say definitely up near the start of the parade and the first few blocks, or along Howe Street near the end.”
“I would try to avoid the area around the art gallery, which gets very busy. If you have small children, it’s tough to see in that area because there are so many people,” he adds.
With as many as 300,000 people expected to show up Sunday afternoon, Nickerson is also asking you to be considerate to others — especially kids.
And don’t forget to bring a donation for the Greater Vancouver Food Bank.
