VANCOUVER (NEWS1130) – What will Canadians find under the Christmas tree this year?
Women’s apparel and cameras were big sellers on Black Friday and Cyber Monday.
Credit and debit processor Moneris tracked Canadian spending data on over that weekend and found a 24 per cent jump in the sales of women’s clothes over the same period last year.
Men’s clothing was down five per cent.
Cameras and photography supplies were popular, as well.
Sales of home electronics — which includes televisions, media players, audio equipment, and computers — saw only a four per cent increase over the four-day period last year.
