Terror suspects fabricate bombs while chatting logistics in secret video

VANCOUVER (NEWS1130) – A jury is watching a couple brainstorm in a BC motel room as they build bombs out of pressure cookers, which the Crown claims they planned to plant around the provincial legislature to kill civilians.

John Nuttall and Amanda Karody had no idea they were being videotaped by undercover police ahead of their arrests in July 2013.

In the latest video, Nuttall commands his wife to research buildings around the legislature as he messes about with glue and pressure cookers.

He often paces the room and yells at Karody to stop wasting time, at one point telling her that if they don’t complete the bombs, there is a good chance they will be killed.

The six-hour video was captured on the evening of June 28, the night before a planned meeting with a man they were told would supply the explosive material to complete their bombs.

The Crown has told the jury the man was actually another undercover officer and that the RCMP ensured the bombs were inert.
