Three teens charged with manslaughter after Whistler stabbing death

WHISTLER (NEWS1130) – Manslaughter charges have been laid against three teenagers in relation to the stabbing death of 19-year-old Luka Gordic.

An altercation between two groups spending the long weekend in Whistler is believed to have been a factor. A fourth 18-year-old man is also facing charges.

Sgt. Stephanie Ashton with the Integrated Homicide Investigation Team says this was a situation where a group of young people who knew each other had a dispute which turned deadly.

“There are some witnesses who have yet to speak with investigators about the death of Luka Gordic, we ask that those people come forward now and tell us what they know,” she adds.

The three made a court appearance in North Vancouver today.
