Strangers approach young children at Vancouver school

VANCOUVER (NEWS 1130) –  A warning for parents to talk to their kids about stranger danger after two people approached a group of children near an elementary school in Vancouver on Friday afternoon.

Shortly after 1 p.m., a silver 4-door Honda Civic stopped at L’Ecole Anne Hebert Elementary School at Killarney Street neat East 56th Avenue.

The car was driven by a man with a woman in the passenger seat and she opened the door and asked a six-year-old girl standing with her friends if she wanted to get inside.

The little girl refused and ran away to find an adult.

The pair didn’t get out of the car.  Investigators are now trying to find the pair and the car.

Anyone with information about this case or who the two people may be are asked to call Vancouver Police.
