NORTH VANCOUVER (NEWS 1130) – A judge has granted bail to a young man charged with manslaughter after the death of Luca Gordic in Whistler back in May.

Arvin Golic, 18, has been released from custody and is under house arrest.

The decision sparked emotional outbursts outside court, including yelling and crying from the victim’s family, as he drove away.

Two other teens charged in the case, but too young to be named, have also been released. Another is being kept in custody.

Giordic was stabbed to death in Whistler over the May long weekend.
