METRO VANCOUVER (NEWS 1130) – You are banned from sprinkling your lawn effective immediately, thanks to Metro Vancouver moving to the next stage of water restrictions.
Beyond an outright lawn sprinkling ban, Stage 3 water restrictions also bar you from washing your car on your property.
If you have a swimming pool or a hot tub, you aren’t be allowed to fill it under this next level of restrictions. There are also more stringent rules for golf courses.
These restrictions also mean permits to use nematodes to combat chafer beetles in lawns are now void.

This is all down to this hot, dry summer we’re having.
Last week, the province declared a level 4 drought for the South Coast and Fraser Valley.
