Air quality advisory issued for eastern Fraser Valley

ABBOTSFORD (NEWS 1130) – Metro Vancouver has issued an air quality advisory for the eastern portions of the Fraser Valley.
That would be for areas mostly east of Abbotsford.
The advisory is because of an increase in fine particulate matter from some of the big wildfires burning outside our region.
Most of the smoke is thought to be coming from Washington State, but it’s possible some is coming from the Wood Lake fire near Harrison Lake.
People with respiratory problems are warned to take it easy, and not spend too much time outdoors.
