SURREY (NEWS 1130) — Mounties are looking for two men believed to be involved in Surrey’s latest shooting.
Just before 9 p.m., police say a 17-year-old boy was approached by the pair near 100th Avenue and 124th Street and shot in the leg.

Amateur video of the scene shows the shooting may have taken place near the basketball court of Prince Charles Elementary School, but police are not confirming that yet. The victim was rushed to the hospital where he’s in stable condition with non-life threatening injuries.

Police are looking for two suspects described as white, between the ages of 17-22, about 5’10” tall who were wearing dark clothes with scarves covering their faces.

“Investigators have canvased the area and ask anyone who has not already spoken with police to contact Surrey RCMP,” says Staff Sergeant Joe Johal.

Anyone with information about the case can reach Surrey RCMP at 604.599.0502 or by calling CrimeStoppers at 1.800.222.8477.
