New solicitor general responsible for public safety appointed

VANCOUVER (NEWS 1130) – A rookie MLA has been appointed BC’s new solicitor general who is also responsible for public safety.
Mike Morris from the Prince-George Mackenzie riding will take on half the duties from Justice Minister and Attorney General Suzanne Anton.
Morris is a former RCMP officer who retires as the superintendent for the North District.
In an interview two days ago, Clark said she wasn’t planning a cabinet shuffle and that all her ministers were doing a great job.
