Surrey outreach group looks for help after van stolen and trashed

By

SURREY (NEWS 1130) – Outreach workers in Surrey are asking for your help after one of their vans was stolen and trashed.

Maryanne Connor with Nightshift Street Ministries says the vehicle was taken New Year’s Day.

“We just can’t afford to spend one dime on any amount of repairs on that vehicle, and worse, if it’s not repairable, which I suspect it likely isn’t, to purchase a new one is beyond our capabilities, so I’m asking for a miracle!”

The organization uses the van to serve hot meals and hand out clothing to people in Whalley.
