VANCOUVER (NEWS 1130) – There’s been a promotion within the top ranks at Vancouver City Hall.
Sadhu Johnston has been named city manager.
Johnston, who was the acting city manager, has gotten the job after a four-month international search.
He fills the position that was left empty after former boss Penny Ballem was fired last year.
Johnston will oversee a $1.2-billion operating budget and a team of about 7,500 employees.
