BURNABY (NEWS 1130) – Charges have been laid in last week’s hit and run in Burnaby that left a young woman dead.

Ali Ibrahim is charged with dangerous operation of a vehicle causing death, and one count of failing to stay on scene.

Two suspects were arrested in Creston last week in relation to the crash and witnesses say they saw two people running from the scene of the accident. The BC Crown says only one person has been charged.

The 25-year-old woman was killed when an SUV ran a red light Willingdon and Deer Lake Parkway just before midnight on Wednesday.
