PORT COQUITLAM (NEWS 1130) – Police are hoping you can help them find the man behind two armed robberies of pizza delivery drivers this month.

The first incident happened on Monday, May 16th at around 10 p.m. RCMP say the suspect ordered a pizza and asked for it to be delivered to a random home on Aire Crescent.

Upon arrival, the delivery driver was confronted by a man with a gun, demanding his wallet.

The suspect ran away before police could arrive. He is described as a white man in his mid to late 20s with green eyes and some stubble on his face.

The second incident happened on Thursday, May 26th at around 10:30 p.m. Police say it happened in the same way as the first, with the driver dropping off a pizza on Prairie Avenue near Shaughnessy. Again, the suspect took out a gun and told the driver to hand over his wallet.

In both cases, the suspect ordered the pizza by phone from a blocked number and specifically requested that the delivery driver bring change for a $100 bill.

If you have any information about these robberies, you’re asked to call Coquitlam RCMP at 604-945-1550 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477(TIPS)
