Two dead after shooting in Fraser Heights

SURREY (NEWS 1130) – Both men shot last night in Surrey have now died.
The Integrated Homicide Investigation Team has taken over a case.
It happened at 159th Street and 110th Avenue near an elementary school. One man was pronounced dead at the scene and the other passed away in the hospital this morning.
One person called to say she was told it was a drive-by shooting around 7:30 p.m.
Pictures on social media show a car with a tarp over top of it and fireworks leaning against the vehicle.
“It is early in the investigation, but police are making every effort to establish the motive for the shooting. We ask that the public exercise vigilance, while we work to find justice for our victims and their families,” says Corporal Meghan Foster.
The victims have been identified as 24-year-old Vikram Toor and 19-year-old Ashim Raza.
IHIT is still trying to determine if the shootings were targeted.
