Man found dead in Abbotsford, IHIT called in

ABBOTSFORD (NEWS 1130) – The Integrated Homicide Investigation Team has been called in after a man’s body was discovered on what police describe as a rural property on Ross Road.
The discovery was made just after 5 p.m. on Friday.
Police say the investigation is still in the early stages, however, they believe the death is suspicious and that it was a targeted hit. As a result, Abbotsford Police has handed the case over to IHIT.
It’s unclear how the man died or who alerted police to the body.
More information is expected to be released Monday at the earliest.
