QUESNEL (NEWS 1130) – One person is dead and seven others have been injured after a crash involving a Greyhound bus near Quesnel.
The collision happened late on Friday, on Highway 97 about 30 kilometres outside of Quesnel.
BC Emergency Health Services said two people were in critical condition while five others were in stable condition.
Greyhound’s Allison Morrison says this happened around 5pm Friday.
“The incident happened 30 kilometres outside of Quesnel. The bus was enroute from Clinton to Prince George.”
There reports four vehicles were involved in the crash including a car, pick-up and a tractor pulling a piece of farm equipment.
There was no immediate information regarding which vehicles those who were killed and injured were travelling in.
Highway 97 was closed in both directions near Kersely as police continued to investigate the cause of the accident. (News 1130)
