Man caught on video shouting racial slurs in Abbotsford sentenced

ABBOTSFORD (NEWS 1130) – A man who was seen on video going on a racially charged rant in Abbotsford last year has been given a a two-month conditional sentence.

Karry Corbett has also been given one year of probation.

Ravi Duhra started filming when Corbett was arguing with a parking enforcement officer.

Corbett shouted racist slurs at the Abbotsford lawyer, yelling “white power” and beating his chest.

Corbett turned himself in days after the incident. He pleaded guilty to assault in September.
