VANCOUVER (NEWS 1130) – A man police have described as one of the most high profile members of the Hells Angels has been arrested in connection with gang-related killings.

40-year-old Larry Amero is charged with two counts of conspiracy to commit the murders of Sandip Duhre and Sukhveer Dhak.

He was arrested in Ottawa today and will be transported to BC to face charged.

Meanwhile, 32-year-old Dean Michael Wiwchar is being charged with one count of murder in connection to Duhre’s death, as well as one count of conspiracy to commit the murder of Dhak.

A third man, Rabih “Robby” Alkhalil, was charged with murder in Duhre’s death and was arrested close to six years ago in Greece.

Duhre was shot dead in an upscale restaurant of Vancouver’s Sheraton Wall Centre Hotel in front of several people, including members of the Women’s National Cuban soccer team, back in 2012. Dhak and another man were shot dead outside the Executive Hotel in Burnaby back in 2014.
