Man kicks library employee in Richmond, runs off: police

RICHMOND (NEWS 1130) – Police say a man kicked a library staff member in Richmond Wednesday night and knocked her to the ground before running away.

Richmond RCMP say it happened sometime before 5:30 p.m. while an event was reportedly happening at the Richmond Public Library.

Video posted on YouTube by user “K Zu” appears to show the man raising his leg and kicking the woman near her stomach, then running off immediately as she fell to the ground.

The woman, in her early 60s, was not seriously injured, police say.

They also say they haven’t yet located the man.

The suspect is described as an Asian man in his early to mid 30’s, clean shaven and wearing glasses.
