Two children and their grandmother hit by car in Abbotsford

ABBOTSFORD (NEWS 1130) – A grandmother and her two grandchildren are hurt after they were hit by a car in Abbotsford this morning.

It happened around 8:15 a.m. on Ridgeview Drive near Townline Road. Police say the woman, who is in her 60s, and the children, aged 5 and 2, were hit by a Toyota Yaris.

The grandmother and the five-year-old were airlifted to the hospital with serious injuries. The two-year-old was taken to the hospital by ambulance with minor injuries.

The driver of the car stayed at the scene and is cooperating with police.
