Surrey RCMP need help identifying senior hit by car, left with critical injuries

SURREY (NEWS 1130) – A woman who was hit by a car near the South Surrey / White Rock border yesterday afternoon is in critical condition but police have no idea who she is.

They’re pleading with anyone who might know her to come forward.

The woman was hit at around 1:30 p.m. in the intersectin of Martin Drive and Southmere Crescent. RCMP say a car was heading east and making a left turn when the collision happened.

The driver stayed at the scene.

The pedestrian was air-lifted to the hospital.

She’s described as a Caucasian woman who is about 70 years old with shoulder-length grey-brown hair, which was in a bun wrapped in cloth. She has a distinctive mark above her right eye.

At the time, she was wearing blue jeans, a blue hoodie, purple and black shoes, and a red watch.
