Virtue, Moir recreate iconic Titanic scene on BC Ferries

VICTORIA (NEWS 1130) – The most decorated Canadian ice dancing duo in Olympic figure skating captured the hearts of people around the world during the Games earlier this year and they’ve done it again.

Tessa Virtue and Scott Moir, who’ve skated together for two decades, goofed around while travelling with BC Ferries this week. The pair recreated that famous Titanic pose with Virtue playing the role of Leonardo DiCaprio.

The post on captured on Virtue’s Instagram page as she celebrated her birthday.

They’re in the Lower Mainland performing at Rogers Arena as part of “Stars on Ice” tour.

Virtue and Moir are two-time Olympic gold medalists, three-time World Champions and eight-time National Ice Dance Champions. Also part of the tour are Kaetlyn Osmond, Meagan Duhamel and Eric Radford and Patrick Chan.
